I am really not sure.... But I am going to try, but I am really curious~~Is it okay if you were to tell me if I am correct or wrong? Haha. Here is my answer:

When the beaker of hot water loses heat, the surrounding air in B is unable to lose heat as quickly as in A because the glass container (which is an insulator of heat) in B has to lose heat to the surrounding before the air in the glass container can lose heat gained from the beaker of hot water.

In set up B there is a layer of air around the container.Air is a poor conduct or of air. Hence it slows down heat loss to the surroundings slower.
