On each day of their vacation, Steph spends $230 while Angie spends $190.
Remember that they started with the same amount of money.

$230 - $190 = $40

This means that after each day, Steph will spend $40 more than Angie.

So the difference between Steph's remaining money and Angie's remaining will increase by $40.

At the end of the vacation, Steph has $240 left while Angie has $720 left.

$720 - $240 = $480

So Angie has $480 more than Steph at the end of the vacation.

$480 ÷ $40 = 12

They were on vacation for 12 days.
