a) Recall that 1 L = 1000 cm ³

So 10 L = 1000 cm³ x 10 = 10000 cm³

9000 cm³ ÷ 10000 cm³/min
= 0.9 min
= 0.9 x 60 seconds
= 54 seconds

Your part b) is on the right track.

Just divide 27000 cm³ by the base area to get your height.
