Triangle BGD is common to both. So ABGH is 11cm² smaller than GFED.

GF = BF - BG = 11 cm - 4 cm = 7 cm

Area ABGH + 11 cm² = Area GFED

AH x GH + 11 cm² = GF x ED

4 cm x GH + 11 cm² = 7 cm x (11 cm - GH)

4 cm x GH + 11 cm² = 77 cm² - 7cm x GH

11 cm x GH = 66 cm²

GH = 66 cm² ÷ 6 = 6 cm

ED = 11 cm - GH = 11 cm - 6 cm = 5 cm
