Good morning Sir/Mdm,
I’m using the method taught in book, but why is my answer not logical?

Your answer's x-coordinate is -1, which is negative (on the left side of the y axis.)

How can OQ have a negative x coordinate when Q lies on the line BC, which is on the positive side of the x axis? That's why it's not logical.

CQ = 2 BQ refers to the length. But since you are doing in terms of coordinates/vectors, your direction for both has to be the same.

So it should be ⇢CQ = 2 ⇢QB.
