Our teacher doesn’t want us to solve it using algebra
She claims that it is an easier method
Keson, there is almost always more than one method to solve a question, especially in mathematics. Don't let this teacher influence your problem solving style in your exams. I see that the question has been answered, but you will see that using algebra or "models" just require a tiny bit of visualisation.
