the alternative would be the model method:
10 units for rulers
4 units of notebooks
10 units x 0.60 + 4 units x 0.90 = 168
9.6 units = 186
1 unit = 17.5
total spent on rulers = 10 units x 0.60= 10 x 17.5 x 0.60 = $105
end
