This question is about Circle/Pi.
I am weak in this and I needed help in both understanding this and answering it (Thank you!) :)

to find the area of the shaded part, first you have to find the area of the entire semi circle and the triangle. When the big semi circle - the triangle, you are left with the area of the 2 small semi circles. you can then divide the answer by 2 as the triangle is an isosceles triangle and hence the two small semi circles have the same area. Try it out first. :)
