From the x/2. When you differentiate e^(x/2), you also differentiate the x/2, which gives you 1/2.

So d/dx ( e^(x/2) ) = 1/2 e^(x/2)

So when you integrate, you have to divide it by 1/2.

So ∫ (e^(x/2) )
= e^(x/2) ÷ 1/2
= 2e^(x/2)

Check:

d/dx (2e^(x/2))
= 2e^(x/2) x 1/2 = e^(x/2)
