Use prime factorisation.

594 ÷ 2 = 297

297 ÷ 3 = 99

99 ÷ 3 = 33

33 ÷ 3 = 11

11 is a prime number

So 594 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 11

Since each side has more than 3 cubes,

Smallest side has to be 2 x 3 = 6

You have two 3s and one 11 left. Only way to have the two other sides to have more than 3 cubes is :

3 x 3 = 9
11

So 594 = 6 x 9 x 11.

Longest side is 11 cubes.
