try to use log operations and partial fractions to solve. key is to understand that you need to manipulate the expression in the second part until you get the expression in your first part.

Don't use partial fractions. Use the fundamental theorem of calculus which says if F'(x) = f(x) then ∫ f(x) dx = F(x) + c
