for this kind of question, i find it very helpful to break down the blocks into separate rectangular boxes! because we know that the volume of boxes are:
height x length x width
so breaking the objects down this way and separateing them by colour can really help with visualisation! try the next shape yourself, the answer is 52cm^3. if you have any questions though please contact me!
