Boys = 100% - 45% = 55%
Boys - Girls = 55% - 45% = 10%
1st group: 20 more boys than girls
2nd group: 12 more girls than boys
20 -12 = 8
Overall there are 8 more boys than girls.
8 → 10%
5% → 8 ÷ 2 = 4
Boys → 55% of all participants
55% → 5% x 11 → 4 x 11 = 44
There are 44 boys.
