You drew the model wrong. It’s difficult to draw models for these questions but at the same time, if you’re a visual learner, it will help. I drew 2 just to help you see it clearer. From there you can see that if you add 4+14+14+4, you will get the total number of pupils that corresponds to 3 units. From there you can calculate the number of pupils in hall B.

Additional note: you cannot assume that 14 is 2 units because the question does not confirm this.
