The top answer is long and tedious. The bottom one uses the factor formula, but factor formula has been taken out of the o level syllabus.

Need factor formula, otherwise too tedious. You can obtain factor formulas from compound angle formulas.

As I've mentioned above, the factor formula is not part of the o level syllabus anymore.
