The answer is : is attending
Neither means Zero
Zero is Singular so we use 'is'

The second and forth question are incorrect.

Question 2: Tom heard... sing... was in the bathroom.

While the action happened in the past, Tom heard it, so he is making a statement of fact. He indeed heard someone sing.

Question 4: Edward's not feeling well, is he?

The full form of the first part of the sentence is "Edward is not feeling well..."

Isn't "heard" a sensory verb? So the "sing" should be the root form.
