Using trial and error, write down the headings clearly to represent number of notes and amount of money from the respective notes.
Since $180 ends with a 0, we know that the number of $2 notes used is in multiples of 5.
From the above trial and error table, we can tell that Mrs Ang used 14 $10 notes, 6 $5 notes and 5 $2 notes.
