For part (b), you need to mention that Carbon dioxide is a potent greenhouse gas that traps heat, which increases the rate of melting of ice, which increases the production of water vapour, an even more powerful greenhouse gas that has a higher warming potential.
Therefore, this causes temperatures to increase via the positive feedback mechanism.
