It is based on area of triangle

Triangle A = 24 cm^2
= divide the triangle into semi triangle (basically got 2 part)
= ( 4cm ^2 ( height of the triangle) × 3cm^2 (base of the triangle) + 4cm ^2 ( height of the triangle) × 3cm^2 (base of the triangle) = 24cm^2
Triangle B (height twice than triangle A)
= (4cm x2) = 8cm x 3cm (base remain the same) + (4cm x 2) × 3cm
Area of triangle B = 48cm^2
Hopefully it is the correct answer....
