Ratios are like frations, to be able to operate of two separate fractions together you need to find a common factor and covert them. In this case, the common favtor would be Bill. Since we know thag Bill has a set amount of marbles, we can multiple the numbers in the two ratios such that Bill’s numbers become the same.
