Hey Matin! Since the question stated that the pie chart is drawn accurately to scale, you can use a protractor to measure out each colour. Since the total is 48 students, 360 degrees equals 48. Which means 1 degree equals to 7.5 students. After you have measured the red angle, multiply the 7.5 to your measured red angle and you will find out how many students carry red bags.

Ps. This one can't show working because this one needs to use protractor. *Accurately* implies that is drawn to scale and therefore you must use protractor.

Prior knowledge
-One full circle is 360 degree.

-Use protractor to measure the angle of RED section
- Divide 360 by the angle of RED
- Take the answer multiple by 48. Then round off to the nearest number. E.g. you get 32.8 ~ round it off to 33. Because students cannot have decimal. It must be whole number .
