Hi Chloe, so from Newton's Law of motion we know that there are two equations that we can use.
1) Net Force = mass x acceleration ( F= ma)
2) Net Force = Force applied - Force resistive

Based on the question given, I can give you the hint that:
Car moves in constant velocity => acceleration = 0
