Why do we need to multiply by 9?

Hi Anna,

Eventually the ratio of number of 50¢ coins to the number of 20¢ coins is 1:9, as given in the question. To make the expressions equal, the algebraic expression of the number of 50¢ coins needs to multiplied by 9.
