1st
At point A:
Boy is at a certain height, he will have a certain amount of GPE. His KE will be 0.

At point B:
Boy moves lower, his GPE will decrease. At the same time, his GPE is converted into KE. The decrease in GPE is equal to the increase in KE.

At point C:
Boy moves back up to the same height, his GPE will increase to the same point as A. His KE will go back to 0.
