I'm not so sure but I know that when the iodine turns blue there's a presence of starch. If it's brown then starch is absent in the part of the leaf.

The answer is 2 as respiration take place but there is no light at Q but there is light at P so photosynthesis can take at P as light ,carbon dioxide and water is needed but Q is lack of light so it cannot photosynthesis

Iodine solution turns blue when there is starch. The food which the plant makes is starch. If no starch,the iodine solution will remain brown. Plant parts which have chlorophyll only can make food( photosynthesis)
