1. Differentiate once to get the dy/dx and equate to 0, this should help you find the value of x at the stationary points
2. Differentiate again to get the d2y/dx2 and sub in the values of x found in step 1, this should help you find out if the d2y/dx2 of the curve is >0 or <0,
>0 is a minimum point
<0 is a maximum point
