Gravitational field is a region of spsce where a mass experiences a force. The gravitational (pull) force of the earth is 10 N/kg. Weight is defined as the gravitational force acting on an object. W = mg

Not really. For example, one can state: There exists a strong gravitational force (of attraction) between the earth and the sun. It makes no sense to change gravitational force to weight for the same sentence.
