You shouldn't do the addition after the first sum as 3276 + 2688 is equivalent to 5954 and not 3276 + 2688 = 5954 + 38.
You should separate the sum where,
3276 + 2688 = 5954
5954 + 38 = 5992
You should separate the sum where,
3276 + 2688 = 5954
5954 + 38 = 5992
