why is tan alpha= 12/5?
isnt tan alpha=sin alpha/cos alpha, which is 5/12
isnt tan alpha=sin alpha/cos alpha, which is 5/12
why +1 to find max value?
In the R-formula, the tan alpha is not calculated using sin/cos, it must be calculated using the coefficient of the second term over the coefficient of the first term; in its question, the first term is 5sinX, the second term is 12cosX, so tan alpha is 12/5.
+1 is in the question, I didn't add it myself, I forgot to write!
oh okayy!! TYSM!!
