No... the question does not say that they all received the amount of money evenly. You CANNOT and should not assume so.
Instead, draw a model for all questions. They will help you illustrate the question much more clearly.
In fact, from your answer, his wife and son already received more than what he gave to the 3 of them, doesn’t make sense right?
