The only n value which satisfies is 3. No other values. The proof is by considering odd and even numbers; and there is no perfect square in between two neighboring perfect squares. Cheers.

Explanation for why other integers won't work comes from the factorisation of 49 into product of 2 integers. There're only 2 possibilities.
