Jolyn, this question is more maths than science,
They have given the average/second of without oxygen as 0.4unit/min
All you need to do is find out the amount of unit for that same time frame for with oxygen, and divide by the time frame. This will give you a #unit/min value which is abit more than 0.4.
The difference is then # - 0.4 unit/min greater.
This question test your understand on unit manipulation, it is hardly science as far as part i) is concerned.
