Hi!! For this question the suggested answer substituted x=3 to find t... why can't we use y=8 to find the value of t? If I use y=8 I get completely different t values. Just to clarify my doubts... Tq for the help!!!

For y=8,
t can be -2.37 too,
which is within the range of the parameters.

But this t= -2.37 does not yield x = 3, so is rejected.
