First find the number of people who did not participate
Which is 80% of girls and 75% of boys
350-80=270(this would be eqn 1)
Since we know 20% of girls and 25% of boys =80
We know that 60% of girls and 75% of boys =80×3
=240(this would be eqn 2)
Since both eqn 1 and 2 consist of 75% boys but eqn 1 consist of 20% more girls than that of eqn 2
Eqn 1 -eqn2 =20% of girls
270-240=30
Since 80% of the girls did not participate
80%=4 (20%)
=4 (30)
=120girls
