a) Must see the relation that
OP = OS = OM = radius = y
Hence the length of the rectangle is 2y
And the perimeter of the rectangle
= 2y + 2y + y + y
= 6y
Hence
6y = 27
y = 4.5 cm
Now that u know the value of y can you solve part (b) ?
