Isn't the middle one 2Aa and 2AA?
Besides how did u get 12 if it's 4Aa? 4+4+2(children) + 1 ?

Middle group of offsprings could be 2AA plus 2Aa. But question asks for maximum number of heterozygous genotype. It is possible for all 4 middle offsprings to be Aa bcos the third (from left) parent could be Aa.
