Use model units to represent boys and girls. Since boys are 1/5 of girls, boys will be 1 unit and girls will be 5 units. Total children are 6 units.

There are total of 6 units representing children. As adults are 2/3 of children, convert 2/3 into 4/6. So 6 units will represent children and 4 units represent adults.
