For q9 i dont get how to go abt choosing the eqns. Shdnt it be the eqn with H2O involved?

For Q9, metal dissolve due to oxidation. So whatever happened in the solution must be reduction.

Electrons are lazy like us. It tends to do the easier stuffs first. So the “easier reductions” are those with higher Eo values.

So we choose the eqn w H+ on the LHS of the equation right? Since metal is oxidised
So shdnt the eqn be O2 +4H+ + 4e > 2h2O (+1.23V)?
