I have another question then. Part iii) answer, greatest distance is 152cm and the theta when it occurs is 9.5deg. However when I used your method I get 7.8deg in first quadrant or 11.2deg in second quadrant. May I know why?

This is my explaination. Key word is rounding error. Thats why you get different answers but yet so close. 9.5 degrees and 7.8 degrees.
