This is under the topic of percentage.
The ones priced in a) are all in 100%. It is always taken as the one with the higher price to be the first book.
What happens in b) is that the books are discounted.
But don't worry about that, as they made the difference between the 2 books. Since the 2nd book has been discounted beforehand, it is at 80% and needs to be restored to 100%.
