21 correct, 9 wrong
Simplest approach: Since she has 54 marks, she must have at least 18 correct answers, trial and error from 18 correct-12wrong and so on, u can get this answer

A standard kind of question which does not require trial and error. Assumption method: assume are 30 questions are correct--> should get 90 marks but only 54 marks. The difference (36marks) is due to the number of questions answered wrongly. With every question answered wrongly, this person gets 4 less marks (compared to 1 question answered correctly). Divide by 4, that is 9 questions answered wrongly.
