First step will be to find the value of the correct product

Since 624 is 3/4 of the correct product, the correct product value will be 624 * 4/3 = 832

If you want the smallest value for the 3 digit, the 1 digit must be the biggest

So we can first try 9 which is the biggest, however it gives a fractional answer so 9 cannot be used

Next we use 8 which fortunately gives a perfect 3 digit number of 104 which is your answer
