Help Luffy the pirate! Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
Just need some clarity
P and Q are subsets of E.
E = { (1, 2), (1, 4), (2, 2), (2, 4), (3, 2), (3, 4) }
Since x is a positive integer and x < 4, the possible values of x are 1, 2, and 3.
Since y is an even number and 1 < y < 6, the possible values of y are 2 and 4.
Look at the elements of E, then choose those that fulfill the set property of P.
P = { (1, 4), (3, 2) }
Try, on your own, to list the elements of Q.
For part (b), ask whether there are any common elements of P and Q.
