Approach is correct. But calculation is wrong,
40 x 4 = 160 (not 120)
160 - 112 = 48
48/4 = 12
Some might ask why divide by 4 and not 2 as shown in the problem, it's because 160 includes 4 of the shorter sides, not 2, hence need divide by 4.
