Please help to explain more on why Anna's total is 27 units and Brenda's total is 49 units? Thanks.
Anna left = 7/9 mean Anna have total 9u, gave away 2u and left 7u
Brenda left = 3/7 mean brenda have total 7p, gave away 4p and left 3p
Since both left are equal
7u = 3p
In order to make them same, therefore,
Anna left = 7/9 = 21/27 mean left 21u and total 27u
Brenda left = 3/7 = 21/49 mean left 21 and total 49.
Brenda left = 3/7 mean brenda have total 7p, gave away 4p and left 3p
