key difference would be between slant edge and slant height here. the slant edge is the line segment from the top of the pyramid to one of the vertices of the hexagonal base. whereas the slant height is the perpendicular distance from the top of the pyramid to the midpoint of the one of the edges of the bas3 (side of the hexagon).
