B C A stands for before change after. Because she used 2/5 of silver, this means that silver total was 5u, used 2u and left with 3u. The after ratio of silver is from 5/11 of remaining are white which means that 6/11 of remaining are silver, hence after 5:6. Since silver after is common you make them the same to compare and work backwards.
