The question want least number of boxes. (Smaller number of boxes). Therefore, we should buy the cupcakes in the boxes contents more cupcake.
Hence, 3 boxes with 24 cupcakes each.
Total = 3×24=72
The raimaining 90-72=18
1 box with 12 cupcakes
1 box with 6 cupcakes.
Hence, 3 boxes with 24 cupcakes each.
Total = 3×24=72
