Let “x” be the number of bags.
5x – 4 = 4x + 3
Add “4” to each side, 5x = 4x + 7
Subtract “4x” to each side, x = 7
When x = 7,
5x – 4 = 4x + 3
35 – 4 = 28 + 3
31 = 31
Hence, the least number of oranges: 31
