The area of a triangle is 1/2 x base x height. The base of the triangle is 10 x 2 = 20 cm and the height of the triangle is 6 so you can calculate the area of 1 triangle and multiply by 3 to find the area of the 3 triangles which is equal to the area of the paper before it was folded.
